San Pedro is one of the oldest and most important farms in Argentina. The main house was originally built in 1872. The present Tudor style residence was constructed in 1928. It’s surrounded by an aged park of 180 hectares, designed by Charles Thays.

 Production:

Rice is the main activity, also cattle breeding.

 Activities in the Estancia:

Walks, swimming, birdwatching, fishing in streams and in Gualeguaychú River.

 Activities in the Surrounding Area:

Visit to San José Palace, El Palmar National Park, Uruguay River (beaches, etc), golf.

 Meals:
barbecues, “empanadas” (meat stuffed pastries), salads, lamb, home made pastas. There are also pies, stews, and desserts.
